This lip combo is one of my most asked questions from y’all when I’m wearing it! Charlotte Tilbury quickly became one of my favorite makeup lines right when I tried it. This is her Matte Revolution Luminous lipstick in “Very Victoria”, and her lip cheat in the color “Pillowtalk”. I usually this same lip liner in the color “Iconic Nude”, but this has become a new favorite!
There are many setting powders that I love with all different price ranges. This one is a new one I have been using recommended by a friend! I love that it’s translucent but not a white color, and is also talc free. It gives your skin a gorgeous finish without completely taking away the finish of your foundation. The price isn’t terrible, and it lasts for a very long time. If you are in the market for a good setting powder, definitely give this one a try!
This contour wand should be labeled “contouring for dummies”, because it’s SO easy to use! Contouring is intimidating for a lot of people, but this blends out so seamlessly that it’s hard to mess up. I know it’s a little on the pricier side but this is something I am glad I splurged on. It’s not too harsh and could be used on an everyday look.
Any eyeshadow pallet under $20 always catches my attention. Not only are Morphe pallets inexpensive, but they are also GREAT quality. I use their pallets on all of my brides when doing makeup! This one in particular was a recent purchase. I saw my friend Payton (who is also a makeup artist) using it on a bride, and fell in love with the colors. Would totally recommend this one for any skin tone!
This concealer is my new HOLY GRAIL. Lately, I have been over caking on the liquid concealer under my eyes. This applies perfectly with a small concealer brush, or your finger. It has great coverage but doesn’t look too heavy, nor does it crease up at all through out the day. Proving that my motto “less is more” is always best. I recommend getting one shade lighter for a brightening effect! I got the shade “vanilla”.
I have tried so many different brands of dry shampoo and this one has been my favorite for a while now! Not only does it smell incredible, but it ACTUALLY works. So many dry shampoos seem to make my hair even dirtier but this one is super lightweight, while also soaking up the oil. I love the fact that there is no tint to it at all (white or dark), which is why they labeled “invisible” meaning it doesn’t leave a white cast in my dark hair. It also comes with a generous amount of product so you aren’t buying one every month. I have gotten so many people hooked on this one!
Does anyone else thoroughly enjoy shopping in Lush? It’s like candy land for bath and body goods. What I also like is that all the ingredients are natural. This mask cleanses impurities from your skin while also exfoliating dry dead skin on the surface, revealing the beautiful fresh skin beneath! You can use it on your face and body. Also, it smells like coffee which is a plus for me.
I use a lot of products and don’t wash my hair that often. Therefore, I need to detox my hair about once or twice every month with a good cleansing shampoo. Well this scalp scrub has become my new detox! I have recently been testing out a lot of dpHue products, and am so pleased. One of the creators of the line Justin Anderson, is one of my all time favorite colorists in the hair industry. This scrub exfoliates your scalp and removes dead skins cells and impurities in your hair leaving it extra clean. My hair always feels so good and refreshed after I used this scrub! It does have a little vinegar smell, but it goes away.
Self tanners are either really good or really bad. There isn’t really in between. St. Tropez is the BEST at home self tanner in my opinion. I love the mousse express tan, but lately I have been embracing my fair complexion this time of year and using this natural gradual self tanner as an everyday lotion to give me a healthy glow. The ingredients are also awesome being free of parabens and sulfates. Definitely recommend and I promise it won’t turn you orange!
My sister Hannah has been teaching me the importance of taking daily vitamins and probiotics. Sometime’s it is so easy to get caught up in the outside part of beauty and we neglect the inside of our body! Taking care of your body form the inside out helps the outside look even more beautiful. These multivitamins and probiotics are what she recommends, and I totally trust her opinion because she really pays attention to the ingredients and production of things. I got both of these from HEB!
