You guys know I LOVE makeup. From high end products to drug store products, I’ve pretty much tried it all! As much as I love going into Sephora and trying the latest and greatest products (it’s seriously like candy land in there for me), I always leave feeling a little guilty spending so much money on makeup. It’s so easy to get sucked in by all the beautiful packaging and displays. I know some of you can relate! Today I’m going to share my favorite drugstore products and dupes. There are so many amazing drugstore products that are overlooked or underrated! I get overwhelmed looking down the drugstore aisles in Target or the grocery store because to me, they all look the same. Hopefully this blog post will help narrow down what to try, and save you some money! If there are any drugstore products you absolutely love, please share in the comments below!
Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation– I honestly never thought I would ever go back to a drugstore foundation until I tried this one! It is the perfect dupe for the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, but for a fraction of the cost. It’s long lasting, has a beautiful coverage, and a little goes a long way!
Garnier BB Cream– I have actually used this since high school! It gives your skin a beautiful healthy glow. Perfect for the summer, no makeup days, or beach/pool days. If I wear it during a normal day, I will set my face with a little translucent powder. This is a dupe for the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer that I also love.
Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer– My friend introduced me to these and I am now obsessed! They have great coverage and blend out so beautifully.
L’Oreal Glotion– This is a beautiful glow in a tube! You can use this as a primer or I will even mix a couple drops into my foundation if I want a more luminous finish. Love this stuff!! I would compare it to the Charlotte Tilbury Glow primer.
NYX HD Finishing Powder– I personally love using a translucent finishing powder to set my foundation/concealer. I don’t like anything too heavy, just need it to set my makeup in place!
Milani Baked Bronzer– This bronzer is my favorite summer bronzer. If you love a bronzer that has a bit of a glow to it, you HAVE to try this! It warms up the face beautifully. I would compare it to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer– If you like your bronzer to have more of a matte finish, then this product might be more up your alley. I always recommend this bronzer for fair complected skin tones. Even though it’s matte, it has a velvety/creamy finish. I would compare it to the Benefit Hoola bronzer, or the Too Faced Chocolate bronzer.
Milani Baked Blush– I have almost ALL colors in these blushes. They are all so pretty and give the perfect flush of color to the cheeks.
Wet n’ Wild Reflect Shimmer Pallet– This highlighting powder is absolutely STUNNING. It’s only available online at Ulta, but always flew off the shelves in stores. It gives a pearlescent finish for a beautiful glow on the face!
LA Girl Pro Matte Powder– If you are a pressed powder kinda gal then you would love this product. It is a light coverage with a flawless matte finish. Reminds me a lot of the Hello Flawless Benefit Powder that I used to use.
Milani Lip Liner– My favorite drugstore lip liners! I love the color “nude”.
NYX Butter Gloss– I have used these glosses for years. I don’t really like to buy a high end lip gloss. Seems to be a waste to me when these are only $5!
NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick– These are long lasting and very pigmented! The color “baby doll” is a great nude shade. Top it with a butter gloss and you are good to go.
Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Pencil– This brow pencil is just like the Anastasia brow wiz!
Revlon Stay All Day Liner– The Stila Stay All Day Liner is my ride or die liquid eye liner, so it’s hard to find one that compares! This one is closest like it, but half the price.
Pixi Eye Liner– The perfect long lasting creamy pencil liner. Reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay 24/7 glide on liner.
L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara– I’ll be honest, I really don’t like buying high end mascara. My mom has used this for as long as I can remember, and I truly think it’s one of the best mascaras on the market. The carbon black version is the darkest black you will ever find!
Maybelline Falsies Mascara– I used to LOVE this mascara in high school. I still repurchase it every once in a while!
Morphe Eyeshadow Pallets– Honestly, any of these pallets are just as good (or even better) as any high end eyeshadow pallet. My two favs is the Jaclyn Hill pallet, and the 25B pallet.
Morphe Setting Mist– If you are in the market for a new setting spray, you HAVE to get this one. I used to use the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray, and this one blows it out of the water. It also smells so good!
Real Techniques Beauty Sponge– This sponge is a famously known dupe for the Beauty Blender. I use this sponge everyday for my foundation/concealer.
