As I stated in my previous post, this was Blake and I’s first time attending a destination wedding. One of the things I loved most about this wedding was how intimate the ceremony and reception were. Their closest friends and family were there and that was it! Most weddings I have been to (including my own) were very large. This can result in a really fun celebration, but can also be stressful and nerve racking to the bride or groom. Jordan and Erica just seemed so relaxed and comfortable the entire time! They got married on the beach, then the reception was on the resort’s rooftop, which had the BEST view. I also got the privilege of doing Erica’s hair and makeup! It’s such an honor when people ask me to do that for them on their big day. Keep reading to see our outfit details from the wedding! I will include pictures from the wedding at the end 🙂
This gorgeous maxi dress I wore is from Free People. I absolutely love the look of a maxi dress on the beach! This dress was so comfy and flowy, making it super fun to dance in. And, how great is the back of this dress? It was definitely the show-stopping element of my outfit! I decided it was a must for me to put my hair in a simple updo to show off the back. Make sure to click the link I tagged under the picture to check it out. The dress is also available in other colors online!
Bri looked so cute in her green dress from Nordstrom! She discovered her dress through Trunk Club stylist. Trunk Club is a service that employs a stylist to pick out and send you clothes based on your personal style and budget! Your stylist sends you 8-12 pieces each trunk, and you only pay for what you want to keep then send the rest back (free shipping). Additionally, Nordstrom owns Trunk Club, ensuring me that they must have great costumer service! I will leave a link here for anyone interested in checking it out! Her wedges are from DSW.
I was so in love with Maddie’s 2 piece outfit she wore to the wedding. It hugged her cute figure perfectly, and I loved the tropical floral pattern! This outfit was from a boutique in Austin called Maya Star. I will leave a link for their website here, and you can also look them up on Instagram! She paired her outfit with these cute heeled sandals from Charming Charlie’s. I had to buy a pair for myself since they are only $35!
Thanks for reading my post! Here are some pictures of all the wedding fun!
