Summer Beauty Favs

Happy hump dayyy! This post is going to be all about my summer beauty favs! I always love reading these types of posts because I’m a product junkie who loves to know what everyone else is loving. If you have any summer beauty favorites you think I must try, please let me know in a comment below! Just another excuse for me to make a trip to target, sephora, ulta, or any other place I don’t need to be unless I want to spend a minimum of $100….

Stella McCartney Pop– This is my new favorite fragrance!! It’s really hard for me to describe what it smells like. In middle school and high school I always wore Viva La Juicy. I love that fragrance but every time I smell it I can’t help but think of my 13 year old self (yikes). This one reminds me of Viva La Juciy, but a more sophisticated version! Honestly you need to just go smell it for yourself… But Sephora describes Pop as a floral woody fragrance that is bright, contemporary, and positive. Perfect for summer time. Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter– This highlighter has been my new favorite product as of recently! One of my best friends let me try hers one day and I was sold the second I put it on. Liquid highlighters can be intimidating, but this one blends out so smoothly, giving you the most healthy looking glow! Sometimes I put it all over my face before I put on my foundation which gives me a bit more of a dewy look, without looking or feeling oily or greasy. This is what I have noticed Kim Kardashian doing with her makeup lately- dewy healthy looking skin, with minimal eye make up. Despite what people think of the Kardashians, they have the best hair and makeup!

Huda Rose Gold Pallet– This is honestly one of the most beautiful pallets I own! I went to Sephora to buy it and they said it was most likely sold out. But they checked anyways and happened to have one more left. So, it was meant for me to buy it haha. Not only are these my colors I like to work with, but the quality of the shadows are amazing. What really drew me to this pallet was the foiled shadows at the top of the pallet. Your fingers are the perfect tools for applying them! At some point, I will film a makeup look using this pallet.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner in “Iconic Nude”– I have mentioned this lip liner many times before, but it is honestly the best! It is the perfect nude that could look great under any lip color. You can even get away with over lining your lips just a tad with this liner to make your lips look a little bigger (but don’t get crazy with it). Hints the lip “cheat”.

Mabelline Color Sensational Inti-Matte Lipstick in “Peach Buff”– This lipstick is great quality for such a low price! I am alwasys getting questions about what lipstick I am wearing when I wear this. It has a peachy undertone which makes it the perfect summer nude. If you didn’t know, I have a major obsession with nude lipsticks. I have so many that all look the same (but are actually so different ;)).

NYX Butter Gloss– These lipglosses have been a favorite of mine for about 5 years now! They are very inexpensive, and feel so nice on the lips- not to thick or sticky. I top every lipstick with one of these babies or even wear them on their own for a more natural look.

Kopari Coconut Body Glow– This is a MUST HAVE for summer! You can put this on your legs, arms chest, or all over your body to give your skin a beautiful healthy glow.  This is NOT a self tanner, so don’t think it will make you tanner. But it has a gold tint that will give your skin a gorgeous summertime glow. Sometimes I will mix it with sunscreen at the beach or by the pool giving it SPF benefits as well as making your skin look awesome! Honestly, I would recommend anything made by Kopari. Also, it smells like coconuts which is always a plus.

I hope y’all enjoyed this quick post! I will have something a little more personal next week!

Xoxo,

Rachel
