Summer Casual Dress

Happy Monday! Today on All Things Blush I am sharing a casual spring/summer look. In my opinion, dresses are the most comfortable things to wear in the Texas summer heat. There is nothing worse than getting into a hot car with a leather interior and first being scalded by the seat’s hot temperature and then having your sweaty legs sticking to the seat the whole drive (this is usually the case for me when wearing shorts). Dresses are breezy, while also covering the back of your legs and tush when sitting 🙂

I found this adorable light weight dress from Anthropologie. I could literally spend hours in that store looking at all of the unique things they carry! From clothing, to accessories, to home decor… they have it all! When I first saw this dress I was unsure about the long sleeves since summer is approaching. But trying it on revealed how light-weight it was and I was sold! I also love the colors and paisley-like print of the dress. I paired this dress with these shoes by Chinese Laundry (Kristin Cavallari’s line). Her shoes have been my current obsession! I actually found these shoes at Hemline boutique in Bryan/College Station located in Downtown Bryan. They carry some of her shoes and have super cute stuff, so make sure to check them out! On another note, has anyone read her book Balancing In Heels? I’m thinking about reading it, so let me know your thoughts about it if you have read it! Lastly, my grey Chloe bag seemed like the perfect bag to tie together this look. This bag was a gift for my birthday, and I think it’s so gorgeous! I will link similar color bags here, here and here.

Hope you enjoyed this outfit post! I will link all of the outfit details after the following pictures. Have a fabulous week!
